SAN ANTONIO – While construction progressed outside of the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center Jan. 20-21, inside the convention center, construction was on display.

The Construction Expo brought together all facets of the construction industry for two days of seminars and workshops covering topics ranging from green building, marketing, accounting and construction law. 

Close to 100 companies displayed products and services in the exhibition hall.

A special ceremony was held Jan. 20 to honor leaders in the construction industry.  Elisa Chan, mayor pro tem and city council member, presented individual proclamations from Mayor Julian Castro to award winners. –kf
