Best of the Rodeo BBQ
One of the benefits of holding the 14th Annual San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo Barbecue Cook-off at Sea World, was the availability of water in case the grills got out of hand.
But despite the amount of smoke that filled Sea World’s parking lot, no water was needed – just big appetites.
More than 200 barbecue teams competed Jan. 29-30 for bragging rights and prizes. Many of the teams represented the construction industry, and some took home individual and overall honors. –bd/kf
