SAN ANTONIO – The generous support from construction companies and individuals made for a heart-warming sight as Santa’s sleigh (or bobtail truck, in this case) filled up with toys for the foster children of Bexar County. The Construction News office was the drop-off point Dec. 3 for the toys, gift certificates and checks. 
This is the 11th year the construction industry has given so abundantly so that children in foster care will have presents for Christmas. A huge thank you goes out to all who participated. A total of $21,670 in cash and gift certificates and 1,432 toys were collected. –sj
