Reaching a milestone
HOUSTON – Houston-based Warwick Construction Inc. has been awarded its 3,000th job. The project is to build a new Shoe Palace store at the Rivercenter Mall in San Antonio, TX.
“There has recently been a flurry of activity in the construction industry,” said Tony Annan, founder and president. “Projects that were once canceled have come back to life and retail expansion plans that were postponed are now in a hurry to get open. We are currently running and bidding more projects than we have in the past two years.”
Annan says Warwick Construction has weathered the recent financial downturn and used the time to hone its services.
“We look forward to continued growth through 2011,” he said. “Three thousand projects is quite a milestone that could not have been achieved without the hard work, loyalty and dedication of our employees, vendors, and customers. For this I am humbly appreciative.”
According to Annan, Warwick Construction was named after the Warwick castle in England, which never fell to a siege due to its construction at the time.
Founded in 1999, the general contracting company, Warwick Construction has procured licenses in all 50 states and has expanded its portfolio to include not only retail but also light industrial, medical, hospitality, government and municipal projects. –ab
