AUSTIN – Bruce Bonnet and Byran Bonnet with Lone Star Materials Inc., Art Mowdy with A&D Drywall and Tim Smith with Central Texas Drywall recently went hunting with their spouses at a 32,000-acre ranch in Van Horn, TX.

“The scenery was breathtaking,” Bonnet said.  “We were able to see the Sierra Diablo, the highest elevation on the ranch.”

Bonnet says during the trip the group saw wild game including desert bighorn sheep, elk, mule deer, pronghorn antelope, turkey, prairie dogs, black tail and Mohave rattle snakes and horny toads.

“The ranch is very mountainous with dangerous terrain,” Bonnet said.  “We took one day to tour part of the ranch on Polaris Rangers and it took eight hours to cover 25 miles. We had a blast!”  –ab
