HOUSTON – Burts Construction recently held the 3rd Annual Hunt for Heroes deer hunt at the Burts Ranch in Brackettville, TX. The Mueller family from Tomball, TX sponsored the hunt.

Family tradition
SAN ANTONIO – Delbert (8) and Mason (4) Murry, sons of Kevin and Dolores Murry, Batchelder Construction Inc., have been on hunting trips with their mom and dad since they were four weeks old. On Thanksgiving weekend 2011, Delbert harvested his third management deer with a 175-yard shot. It was his second buck harvested this season.

See? Dancing does help
DALLAS – After spending Friday night out dancing with his wife to the sounds of Gary P. Nunn, Mark Standifer, American Roofing and Metal Co. Inc., got out of bed at 3am, drove to Hamilton, Texas, was in the blind by 5:45am, shot the buck at 8:30am, at the processor soon after with meat given to “Hunters Feed the Hungry” and spent the rest of the day sampling tequila.
